Hem Netjer

Hem Netjer is a Pagan Electronic music project from Vancouver, BC, Canada that was formed in the beginning of 2020. Hem Netjer is the middle Egyptian word for god’s servant (priest) and represents the concept of combining ancient stories, traditional instruments and modern technology to keep the spirits and history alive. Their members include: Raven Rissy, David Deckard and Jesse Ellyt.

Their debut single “Otherworld” was released on October 31st 2020, which included an official music video. On December 1st 2020, they released an EP called Kemet; which the songs combined ancient Egyptian mythologies, electronic music and even Tuvan Throat Singing.
